Holiday Lane: A Yuletide Tale

A few years ago I started a story about the holidays. I love the holidays and I love writing so the story practically wrote itself right?

I haven't finished it sadly. But I think I'm going to work on it and post it here.

It's called Holiday Lane: A Yuletide Tale and the idea is very loosely based on the show Once Upon a Time. What I mean by that is that it's about a town called Holiday Lane and the inhabitants are characters from popular holiday stories or songs. I won't spoil the surprise and say which character belongs to which song or story. But take wild guesses.

It's a fantasy story that I wasn't sure where I wanted to go with it but I wanted to write it and see what the end result was. Kind of like an experiment. Sometimes, it's nice to just write for fun.

The story's synopsis is:

In the town of Holiday Lane where anything is possible and magic is an everyday occurrence; the people of the town are the living and breathing clichés of popular holiday songs and stories. A small town that's divided by the differences in opinion must soon remember (what was once taught but now forgotten) the meaning of what the holidays are truly about if they want any chance at surviving. They'll have to help each other and learn through tales of heartbreak and sorrow, miracles and joy, darkness and light; join the citizens of Holiday Lane for the grand finale that promises to warm even the coldest of hearts.

P.S. My wonderful friend Stephanie made the cover. Shout out to the home girl.
